Add a touch of vibrant, cottage-garden charm to your borders with Potentilla nepalensis 'Miss Willmott'. This delightful perennial is highly prized for its prolific display of cup-shaped, cherry-pink flowers, each accented by a striking dark crimson eye at the centre. Held on slender, arching stems above a neat mound of strawberry-like green foliage, these blooms provide a long-lasting splash of colour from mid-summer right through to early autumn. Robust and easy to care for, it is a reliable performer that brings effortless beauty to any sunny spot.

Key Features:

  • Vibrant Cherry-Pink Blooms: Features unique pink flowers with deep red centres that provide a beautiful, high-contrast look.

  • Long Flowering Season: Enjoy a continuous display of colour from July through to September.

  • Compact & Mounded Habit: The low-growing, spreading foliage makes it an excellent choice for the front of borders or rock gardens.

  • Hardy & Resilient: A tough perennial that is easy to grow and adapts well to various soil types.

  • Pollinator Friendly: The open, accessible flowers are a magnet for bees and butterflies throughout the summer.

Care & Usage Instructions:
Potentilla 'Miss Willmott' performs best in full sun but will also tolerate light partial shade. It thrives in poor to moderately fertile, well-drained soil; avoid planting in overly rich ground as this can make the stems grow a bit floppy. To encourage a second flush of flowers and maintain a tidy habit, deadhead the spent blooms regularly. In early spring, tidy up the plant by removing any dead or tattered foliage from the previous year. To maintain the plant's vigour, it is beneficial to divide the clumps every 3 to 4 years in spring or autumn.
