Hamamelis × intermedia 'Pallida' is a deciduous shrub renowned for its profuse, sweetly scented, bright sulfur-yellow flowers that bloom in late winter to early spring. Each frost-proof flower consists of four narrow, curled, and crinkled, strap-shaped petals with red-purple calyces. The shrub has a vase-shaped habit with ascending branches clothed in broad oval green leaves, which turn eye-catching shades of yellow in fall.
