Forsythia × intermedia 'Lynwood Variety' is a vigorous, deciduous shrub renowned for its profusion of bright yellow, four-petaled flowers that appear before the leaves in early to mid-spring. The shrub has an upright growth habit and is noted for its brilliant and abundant blooms of yellow flowers in early spring before the leaves on its long arching stems appear.
