Care Instructions:
Ensete Maurelii loves heat and sunlight; plant it in a position of full sun and provide plenty of shelter from strong winds, which can tear the large leaves. These are hungry and thirsty plants—for the most impressive growth, water regularly and feed weekly with a high-nitrogen fertiliser throughout the summer. Please note: This is a tender perennial. Before the first frosts in autumn, it must be moved into a frost-free greenhouse or conservatory. Alternatively, the leaves can be removed and the trunk stored dry in a cool, dark, frost-free place until the following spring.
