A Stellar Performance of Cream and Pink
Pre-order for dispatch end of February 2026.
The Dahlia 'Shooting Star' is a truly distinctive semi-cactus variety that lives up to its celestial name. Its petals are rolled and pointed, radiating outwards to create a spiky, star-like silhouette that adds wonderful texture to the garden. The colour is a sophisticated blend of creamy-yellow at the base, which gently fades to white and is dipped in soft pinkish-purple at the tips. This delicate "picotee" effect gives the bloom a hand-painted look.
Standing tall on strong, dark stems, 'Shooting Star' is a vigorous grower that produces flowers in abundance. It is a fantastic choice for cut flower arrangements, where its unique shape breaks up the softness of rounded blooms. Whether planted in a pastel-themed border or used as a standalone feature, this elegant dahlia provides a long season of interest from mid-summer until the autumn frosts.
