A Tropical Sunset in Bloom
Pre-order for dispatch end of February 2026.
The Dahlia 'Islander' is a spectacular variety that brings the warmth of a tropical sunset straight to your British garden. This magnificent "dinnerplate" dahlia features enormous, ruffled blooms that are a stunning blend of soft coral-pink and deep salmon, fading gently into a glowing golden-cream centre. The petals have a beautiful, twisted texture that adds depth and movement to the flower head.
Standing tall on strong stems, 'Islander' is a vigorous grower that commands attention. It is a favourite for cut flower arrangements due to its unique colour palette, which bridges the gap between hot summer tones and softer pastels. Whether you plant it at the back of a border for height or use it as a standalone feature in a large pot, this dahlia guarantees a high-impact display from July right through to the first frosts.
