A Giant Masterpiece with Magical Lilac Tips

Pre-order for dispatch end of February 2026.

The Dahlia 'Ferncliff Illusion' is a true showstopper that lives up to its name, creating a magical display in the summer garden. This magnificent "dinnerplate" variety boasts enormous creamy-white blooms that can reach up to 25cm across. Each petal is delicately dipped in soft lilac-purple at the tips, giving the flower a glowing, ethereal quality that looks different in every light.

Despite the sheer size of its flower heads, 'Ferncliff Illusion' is remarkably robust. Its strong, sturdy stems are built to hold the heavy blooms upright, making it a superior choice for cutting. Just one or two of these giant flowers are enough to create a breathtaking centerpiece for your home. Standing tall at the back of the border, this dahlia adds architectural height and sophisticated colour from mid-summer right through to the first frosts.
