The World’s Most Coveted Dahlia: A Bridal Favourite
Pre-order for dispatch end of February 2026.
The Dahlia 'Café Au Lait' needs no introduction. It is arguably the most famous and desirable dahlia variety in existence, adored by florists, brides, and gardeners worldwide. This spectacular "dinnerplate" variety produces massive, fluffy blooms that can reach up to 25cm across. What makes it truly unique is its shifting colour palette, opening with shades of creamy coffee and soft apricot, often fading to a delicate blush pink or ivory as the flower matures. No two blooms are exactly alike, adding to its romantic charm.
Vigorous and tall, 'Café Au Lait' is a showstopper in the garden and an absolute essential for the cutting patch. Its strong stems hold the gigantic flowers well, making them the centrepiece of any luxury bouquet. Whether you are growing for a special occasion or simply to enjoy the best dahlias nature has to offer, this variety delivers pure magic.
