Corylus avellana 'Red Majestic' is a deciduous shrub that combines the contorted habit of the corkscrew hazel with striking red-purple foliage. In spring, the plant produces burgundy catkins, adding seasonal interest. The twisted, burgundy-red leaves emerge in spring, turning reddish-green in summer and deep burgundy in autumn, providing year-round visual appeal. This cultivar is ideal for adding texture and color to garden borders or as a specimen plant.
