Cercis canadensis ‘Eternal Flame’ – Evergreen Flame Redbud Tree
Cercis canadensis ‘Eternal Flame’ is a striking cultivar of Eastern Redbud known for its foliage that transitions through multiple shades from glossy red to burnt orange and then yellow all on the same stem throughout the season. In mid-spring, it also produces delicate dark pink pea-like flowers before leaf emergence, creating an extended display of seasonal interest. A compact and vigorous tree or large shrub, it’s won awards including RHS Chelsea Plant of the Year 2021 and is ideal for use as a specimen, multi-stem feature, or container planting.
