Sambucus nigra ‘Black Beauty® Gerda’ is a striking shrub or small tree known for its dramatic, deep purple-black foliage and compact upright habit. In summer, it produces clusters of creamy-white elderflower blooms, followed by small, dark berries that attract birds and wildlife. Its bold foliage provides strong contrast in mixed borders, patios, or contemporary garden designs.
