Quince (Cydonia) ‘Meech’s Prolific’ Tree – Heavy Cropping Quince
Quince ‘Meech’s Prolific’ is one of the best and most reliable fruiting quinces, known for producing large crops of golden, aromatic fruits even in cooler UK climates. In spring, it bears soft pink-white blossoms that add ornamental charm before developing into fragrant, pear-shaped fruits in autumn. These quinces are excellent for cooking – ideal for making jams, jellies, and the classic quince paste (membrillo). Its compact habit makes it suitable for smaller gardens and orchards.
