Prunus ‘Kanzan’ Tree – Flowering Cherry
Prunus ‘Kanzan’ is one of the most widely planted and loved ornamental cherries. Its striking display of double, rich pink blossom in late spring is among the most spectacular of all cherry trees. The flowers hang in dense clusters along bare branches, followed by bronze-tinged young leaves that mature to green through summer. In autumn, the foliage provides another show, turning warm shades of yellow, orange, and red. With its upright, vase-shaped habit, Kanzan is a classic feature tree for avenues, gardens, and landscapes.
