Malus domestica ‘Tickled Pink’ – Dual-Purpose Red-Fleshed Apple Tree
‘Tickled Pink’ is an exciting modern apple variety, valued for its vibrant red flesh and versatility. In spring, the tree produces attractive deep-pink blossom, followed by crisp, juicy apples that can be enjoyed fresh from the tree or used in cooking. When baked, the fruit keeps its shape and flavour, while its pink flesh adds colour to desserts, juices, and preserves. A true showstopper, it was even featured on the BBC’s Great British Menu in the dessert final, supplied directly from the breeder’s mother orchards in Worcestershire.
