A Radiantly Pink Cactus Beauty for Pots and Borders

Pre-order for dispatch end of February 2026.

The Dahlia 'Park Princess' is a delightful semi-cactus variety that packs a punch of colour into a manageable size. Featuring striking, spiky petals in a vibrant shade of sugar-pink, the blooms have a wonderful radiance that seems to glow in the summer sun. As the flower matures, the centre often reveals a hint of pale yellow or white, adding extra depth to its cheerful appearance.

Unlike the giant towering dahlias, 'Park Princess' has a naturally neater, bushier habit, making it an exceptional choice for large patio containers or the front-to-middle of a garden border. Despite its slightly more compact stature, it produces full-sized blooms on strong stems, making it just as good for cutting as its taller cousins. It is a prolific flowerer, churning out bloom after bloom from July right through to the first frosts.

GROWING TIP

Although 'Park Princess' is sturdier than taller varieties, it still benefits from a small cane or support in pots to keep it looking tidy. Deadhead regularly by snipping off the old flower heads; this stops the plant from producing seeds and encourages it to keep pushing out new pink blooms all summer long.
