A Regal Twist on a Timeless Classic

Pre-order for dispatch end of February 2026.

The Dahlia 'Café Au Lait Royal' is a stunning, naturally occurring "sport" of the world-famous original. While it retains the magnificent size and ruffled "dinnerplate" form of its parent, 'Royal' brings a richer, more romantic colour palette to the garden. Its petals are a luscious soft pink, beautifully flushed and streaked with deeper raspberry-purple tones. This intricate colouring gives every bloom a unique, painterly quality that looks incredible in bouquets.

Like the rest of the family, this variety is a vigorous grower, producing enormous flowers on strong, tall stems. It offers the same reliable performance and "wow factor" but with a brighter, more defined pink hue that pairs wonderfully with purples, whites, and deep reds in the border. If you love the original but want a splash more colour, 'Café Au Lait Royal' is the perfect choice.
