Prunus armeniaca ‘Compacta’ – Dwarf Apricot Tree
‘Compacta’ is a naturally dwarf apricot variety, ideal for gardens where space is limited, reaching a maximum height of just 2m. Despite its compact size, it produces heavy crops of large, freestone apricots with a rich orange colour and delicious flavour. Perfect for eating fresh or making into jam, this reliable variety also offers attractive spring blossom, which shows some resistance to frost. Featured on BBC Gardeners’ World in 2017, it has quickly become a favourite among home growers.
