Day 19 of Advent Calendar: Gypsophila Pink

Delicate, airy and pretty pink frothy flowers. Also know as 'baby's breath', Gypsophila is brilliant for adding to bouquets and to fill gaps in borders.

I love love love to sprinkle gypsophila around other annuals and perennials that are in borders. This brilliant in the middle of borders to add a lovely romantic feel to the garden.

It is so simply to grow- direct sow onto well prepared borders (a nice crumbly texture) and then water in dry spells. you'll soon see seedlings start to appear.
