Love love love LOVE lilac! They are such an easy shrub to grow. It will produce large, single, purplish red florets edged with distinctive white edges to each petal. The beautifully fragrant flowers appear in May-June and are attractive to all sorts of wildlife, such as bees and butterflies. So perfect if you want to bring more pollinators into your gardens.
