Cercis canadensis 'Lavender Twist'® forms a very special small, weeping tree with slightly twisted, downward facing branches, perfect for smaller gardens. The clusters of larger than usual pea flowers are a soft lavender pink, rather than the usual rather strident purple-pink. In summer, its mid-green heart shaped foliage bursts through and gradually turns a rich golden yellow in autumn.
