Hellebores are a beautiful addition to a shady spot in the garden which come back reliably year after year. They also bloom through winter so are a brilliant way to bring some colour and joy to your garden through the duller months. 

They have saucer shaped blooms with a deep purpley-pink with tiny speckles and glossy foliage. Best planted in the front to middle of borders.

You can buy plants of Hellebores but they're often labelled with a hefty price tag, you can also buy the seed but they are quite tricky to grow so bare roots are a really good alternative. Bare root hellebore plants will not flower until next winter- but they're worth the wait! You'll thank 'past' you when you're enjoying blooms at Christmas in your garden.
